Cook-DuPage Corridor Study

Travel Market Analysis

The RTA and IDOT are leading a study to address major mobility problems within the Cook DuPage Corridor, an area that spans approximately 30 miles from Cicero Avenue in the City of Chicago to the western border of DuPage County.  ISTHA, CATS, NIPC and more than 50 local governments are also cooperating in this effort.

The first phase of this study, the Travel Market Analysis, distinguishes major travel patterns in the Cook DuPage Corridor and identifies key mobility issues affecting commuters.  Potential improvements will be examined in the Options and Feasibility phase of the study.

The Travel Market Analysis Final Report was published in December 2005 and is now available online. Please visit the Planning section of this web site for links to the final report and further information related to this project.
